About Nancy

Nancy Boren has appeared on FOX TV and spoken at college campuses regarding parenting, social policy, and feminism. She is the editorial blogger for Healthcare at Just Cause and a contributing writer for New England Mamas. She has a degree in Women's Studies and Psychology from Wellesley College and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Pre-Medical Studies from Brandeis University. Nancy was born in Massachusetts, grew up outside of Chicago, and moved to the New York City area after college. She has returned to Massachusetts since getting married, where she now lives with her husband, two children, two cats, and her dog. Nancy writes at her personal blog, Formula Fed and Flexible Parenting, under the name Alex Elliot.
